I AM BLOWN AWAY!!! oh my god what a movie! I don’t know what to say about it!! I loved it so much and it moved me..this..this is an exception!!
I’ll just tell you the story and shut up!
It’s mainly about the Vietnamese War period in USA (late 60s) and how its affecting the young people and how they’re coping with the changes happening because of it. We see that through Jude, a British young man who goes to America to look for his estranged father. He then meets Max, an American college student and his sister Lucy, a young girl who lives in the suburbs and whom he consequently falls in love with. The movie is a musical consisting of 34 songs composed by members of The Beetles to paint us the rollercoaster of emotions.
It has so much creativity and originality that it keeps you thinking “how did she (the director) come with that?!” throughout the visual scenes.
To all of you out there, watch this movie! It’s a delight to your mind.
